In “Spaces #2”, 7 internationally acclaimed directors shot, after commissioning by the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, a short film at home, making their own timely comment on the new reality that we live in. The project is inspired by the book "Species of Spaces" by the French novelist, filmmaker, documentalist, and essayist, Georges Perec and the days of quarantine. 　　The idea is to create a film at home, using the environment, the people or the animals in that space. The only outdoor areas that may be used are outdoor living spaces, such as the terrace, the garden, the balcony and the stairwell. 　　The films are directed by: Tarik Aktaş, Mateo Bendesky, Denis Côté, Rachel Leah Jones, Radu Jude, John Carroll Lynch, Jia Zhang-ke.

—个阿根廷女孩在北京写下日记。在北京期间，她试图寻找她儿时最好的玩伴，一个名叫吴申迪的中国女孩。申迪在五岁时离开布宜诺斯艾利斯，返回中国。 　　An Argentinian girl writes a diary from Beijing. Meanwhile, she tries to find Shedy Wu, her best childhood friend, a Chinese girl who lived in Buenos Aires until she was five years old, before returning to China.

在这个虚拟现实的体验中，张孟泰将观众一同锁入他的记忆，进入亲历的网瘾惩戒中心。该机构由精神科医生运营，背后有军方支持，其功能相当于再教育营。用户在交互式动画虚拟现实的环境中移动——穿过灰暗的走廊和教室，聆听孟泰分享挥之不去记忆——暴力、同伴压力和教化洗脑。 　　但“网瘾”真的是一种精神疾病吗?《诊断》对科学文献研究提出质疑。而中国研究人员经常提及的，引入“网瘾”一词的戈德堡教授，实际上只是对DSM(精神疾病诊断手册)的拙劣模仿。 　　孟泰认为，这种诊断忽略了患者所处的社会环境。而这在中国之外也适用。对于孟泰而言，把他送进惩戒中心的，正是当时在打离婚官司的父母。换句话说，“网瘾”的诊断可能只是另一种形式的社会控制。
